Heritage MP Zaruhi Postanjyan has congratulated Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on his 60th anniversary.  

The Administrative Court has refused to initiate proceedings on the Afrikyan building case. To recall, the Helsinki Committee of Armenia and "Urbanlab Yerevan" NGO applied to the Administrative Court of Armenia to declare the Afrikyan building-related decisions of the Municipality and the Government invalid.  

The prosecutor of the Administrative Court of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun communities of Yerevan demanded that the Court should sentence Karabakh war veteran Volodya Avetisyan to 6.5 years in prison and confiscate $2000 from him. Volodya Avetisyan himself did not confess his guilt. "All this is fabricated, I have been repeatedly warned that I would be arrested if I continued my actions of protest:, he said. 

The Fourth Tolma Festival will be held in Armenia on July 16. According to the tradition, it will be held near Sardarapart Memorial on the margins of the Golden Apricot International Film Festival. 

 UNESCO is not the organization to decide if lavash is an Armenian bread or not, chairman of the public organization "For development and preserving of traditions of Armenian cookery", Sedrak Mamulyan, told Arminfo correspondent.  

 U.S.  Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern sees certain progress in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. The ambassador made such statement in an interview with VOA. 

OSCE Minsk Group has not exerted any serious efforts to resolve the Karabakh conflict. 

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the 23rd Session of the OSCE PA in Baku on 28 June, wherein he told the same old story about "the occupied Azerbaijani lands" and complained for "the selective approach" to implementation of provisions of the International Law, Trend reports.

At a meeting of the Standing Committee of the OSCE PA prior to the plenary session of the Assembly in Baku on June 28, the  Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Vice Speaker Bahar Muradova, proposed expanding the powers of the representative of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly for the South Caucasus, Joao Soares, to help solve the conflicts in the region. Myradova believes that OSCE PA works insufficiently towards facilitating settlement of existing conflicts in the South Caucasus, Turan reports. 

Public Interest Group against Rising Electric Power Tariff calls on everyone to join the action of protest that will start 10:30am on 1 July in front of the Public Services Regulatory Committee (PSRC).  The Committee will adopt the final decision on the tariff on that very day.

 Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov ordered Azerbaijani forces "to respond tenfold to fire from the Armenian side," Trend reports.

 "Should the need arise we will fight for peace again," Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan told reporters at Yerablur Pantheon, Monday. 

 The International  Compatriotic Association  of  Tavush  Region, Armenia, has appealed to the OSCE Yerevan Office Andrey Sorokin, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative for the Republic of Armenia Bradley Busetto, and Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation to Armenia Sarah Epprecht over constant fires at the Armenian near border villages by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

The political and civil forces should join efforts to change the power in Armenia, Leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian told journalists on Saturday. 

The national interests of Armenia demand urgent presidential and parliamentary elections, Zaruhi Postanjyan, MP from Heritage Party, told journalists on June 28.  She thinks that the political and civil sectors should join forces to achieve that goal. Postanjyan expressed displeasure with the level of cooperation between the opposition forces. Postanjyan believes that their cooperation should cover more and more fields.   

During a summit in Baku, Head of the Armenian Delegation to OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Artashes Geghamyan urged the Azerbaijani authorities to start a dialogue with Stepanakert, APA reports.   

One should not panic over the Azeri fire at Armenian villages. Armenian armed forces keep the situation on the frontline under control, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, Spokesman for Armenian Defense Minister, has told ArmInfo.  

 The Control Chamber has decided to respond to the criticism of the Office of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan. The Control Chamber says that Kocharyan's Office is not a political institution and its conclusions should not be taken as political ones.  

 Many say that nothing changed around Karabakh for the last 20 years. Meanwhile, the geo-politics around the conflict has radically changed. The conflict around Ukraine, Russia’s new role and deeper disagreements between the co-chair states of the OSCE MG, etc. May all this result in  birth of a new situation around settlement of the Karabakh conflict?
