 Armenian Internet networks have been under powerful DDoS attacks since afternoon today. As a result, Internet connection in the country has been poor and instable, the head of a local Internet provider company, who preferred to stay anonymous, told ArmInfo.  All the necessary measures are being taken to localize and neutralize the sources of attacks and filter out all traffic coming from the attack source. Specialists hope the Internet connection will be stabilized in the country shortly.

"We certainly hope  there will be a meeting between both presidents before the end of the year," US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar said in an interview with APA.

He thinks it is important that neither Armenia nor Azerbaijan take actions that would escalate tensions on the line of contact. "We obviously hope that now, after the elections in Armenia earlier this year and the elections recently in Azerbaijan, there will be an opening to make progress in the negotiations over Nagorno-Karabakh."

As regards the upcoming meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani president, the ambassador said: "We certainly hope there will be a meeting between both presidents before the end of the year. As to the exact date, I think it would be best to ask the President and not me. But we certainly hope that there will be a meeting," the ambassador said.

Air Armenia airline has announced new regular Yerevan-Moscow-Yerevan flights, the company told ArmInfo.

 A group of former members of the Armenian National Movement (ANM) Alexander Arzumanyan, Ararat Zurabyan, Karapet Rubinyan and Hovhannes Igityan decided to revive the party.
