Head of the Helsinki Citizens' Assembly Vanadzor Office Artur Sakunts has urged the world community not to ignore the processes developing in the CIS.
He says that on Oct 24 the presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan satisfied the applications by their Armenian and Kyrgyz counterparts to admit their countries to the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union. This, according to Sakunts, is a challenge for both Armenia and Kyrgyzstan as the applications were filed without preliminary consultations with the people living in those countries.
So, Sakunts is urging all democratic institutions and human rights organizations worldwide to react to these processes.
