Collection of Sergei Parajanov`s letters and scripts released in  Latvian 

ArmInfo. A collection of letters and scripts by the great Armenian and Ukrainian director,  screenwriter, artist and collagist Sergei Parajanov, "Freedom", has been published in Latvian.

The preface to the book says: "Parajanov's influence on the formation  of the style of Latvian cinema and poetic cinema tradition is  undeniable.

Perhaps the ghosts of Parajanov's unmade films roam Jurmala today,  like the unrealizable dreams of a bygone era."

The book was published by Petergailis (https://www.petergailis.lv/),  and Ilze Paegle-Mkrtchyan acted as the translator.

The translation was supported by the Ministry of Education, Science,  Culture and Sports within the framework of the "Armenian Literature  in Translation" program
