The head of the Razdan territorial structure of the opposition Armenian National Congress, Ashot Piliposyan, was beaten up in the yard of his house on 12 December. 

Executive Director of ANPP, Gagik Markosyan, has been dismissed and one of the deputy director  arrested, Hraparak daily reported referring to its own sources. 

The head of the state and legal commission of the Armenian parliament , Hovhanes Sahakyan, took a grave view of attacking Aram Manukyan, secretary of the opposition ANC parliamentary  faction, and called on public and political circles of the republic not to overload situation and make untimely conclusions. 

A 32 year old resident of Berkaber village of Tavush region, Aghasi Tamrazyan was wounded as a result of ceasefire regime breaking by the Azerbaijani armed forces.

 In Jan-Sept 2014 Akhtala Ore Mining Company increased its ore output by 84.18% to 400,828 tons.

 Beeline has announced significant extension of GSM and 3G network coverage in Yerevan and Armenian regions. In particular, new 3G base stations were installed in Aragatsotsn, Ararat, Vayots Dzor, Gegharkunik, Lori and Tavush regions. Installation of GSM stations in Yerevan and Ararat region has also had its input in the enhancement of Beeline mobile network coverage.

 Armenia has returned its 5 citizens (a family with 3 children) after 4 years of custody in Azerbaijan, Tigran Balayan, Spokesperson of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, said in a tweet.  

"The recent rapprochement between Turkey and Russia coincide with Azerbaijan's interests and we welcome that," APA reports Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov as saying.

 Turkey cannot conceal the fact of the Genocide of Armenians, as it is responsible for that crime against humanity, though Kurds also helped Turks in that process, Ragip Zakaroglu, a Turkish publicist said at an international conference in Cologne, Germany, ahead of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
