Anelik Bank has introduced two loans – Gold Plus and Secured by Gold.

The total of 88,7% of Yerevan residents are against introduction of the obligatory  accumulative pension system, Director of the Armenian office of Gallup International Association, Aram Navasardyan, said at today's press-conference when presenting the results of the public opinion  poll held among 1066 Yerevan residents.  

The Syrian governmental troops have cleared the major part of the Armenian-populated town of Kessab from the Turkish fighters, Syria Al Aan reports.

 The Armenian Government is ready to make concessions related to the compulsory accumulative pension system, Minister-Head of the Government's Administration Vache Gabrielyan told the RFE/RL Armenian Service. "The Government is ready to thoroughly discuss that issue after the March 28 judgment of the Constitutional Court. The Government is ready for a dialogue, and a dialogue means a compromise", he said.   

 Nikolay Hovhannisyan has been appointed acting CEO of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank. The press service of the Bank has told ArmInfo that the Council of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank took the relevant decision on March 24 following the death of CEO Stepan Gishyan, who had held that post since the Bank was founded.   

A delegation of the Armenian Parliament comprising MPs from the Republican Party Samvel Farmanyan, Arman Saakyan, Naira Krapetyan, Levon Martirosyan, Heritage Party Tevan Poghosyan and independent MP Edmon Marukyan has left for Syria with a view to visit Latakia and to see the problems of local Armenians. 

 The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) has approved participation of Anelik Bank in Avers and Sigue Money Transfer systems. The CBA press service has told ArmInfo that the relevant decision was taken at the March 25 meeting of the CBA Council. 

 Member of the Nagorno-Karabakh Parliament, veteran of the Nagorno- Karabakh war Vahan Badasyan has suggested forming armed groups for defending Armenians in the Syrian town of Kesab.

The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) has called on President Obama and Congress to press Turkey to stop facilitating the attacks by extremist foreign fighters on the northwestern Syrian town of Kessab, whose predominantly civilian Armenian population was forced to evacuate to avoid slaughter earlier this weekend.  In a strongly worded letter issued this morning, ANCA Chairman Ken Hachikian called on President Obama to direct his Secretary of State, the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, and his Ambassador to the United Nations to demand that Turkey halt the cross-border attacks on Kessab that have forced the immediate civilian evacuation of the area and led to the looting of properties and the desecration of churches. 

The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs on March 24 met the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in The Hague, the Netherlands. An agreement was made to hold a meeting at the level of the Presidents. The OSCE Minsk Group U.S. Co-Chair James Warlick made a post about it in his page of Twitter. "We met the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan. An agreement was made to hold a meeting at the level of the Presidents aimed at discussing Nagorno-Karabakh issue. The dates will be clarified," Warlick said.

About 100 demonstrators protested Friday night with Turkish flags and German flags and banners against the performance of a play about the genocide of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire.  "The events of 1915 are events that need to be explored by historians and are still subject to scientific debate," said Aras Tugrul, one of the organizers.

 On 25 March, several public organizations of Armenia took an attempt to disrupt the conference dedicated to the challenges and capabilities of the mining industry of the republic. The conference was organized by the government of Armenia and the World Bank.

The attacks of the Islamist fighters on the Armenian- populated town of Kessab are a planned action of Turkey and the continuation of its genocidal policy against Armenians, the Preparliament civic initiative says in a statement. The authors of the statement say that the attack on Kessab should not be considered as an ordinary episode of the conflict in Syria, because the town is of strategic importance.  

 If Russia wants consolidation of the post-Soviet area, it should seriously have a fit of generosity, Director of the Economy Institute under Russian Academy of Science, Ruslan Grinberg, said at today's televised bridge Yerevan-Moscow. 

The Trial Court of Yerevan's Center and Nork Marash communities has found guilty all the six suspects of Vahe Avetyan's murder and has sent them to jail for 12 years.

As of today almost 10% of the people living in Armenia have Russian passports, Chief of the National Migration Service of Armenia Gagik Yeganyan said in an interview to azatutyun.am.
