Nikolay Hovhannisyan has been appointed acting CEO of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank. The press service of the Bank has told ArmInfo that the Council of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank took the relevant decision on March 24 following the death of CEO Stepan Gishyan, who had held that post since the Bank was founded.
Nikolay Hovhannisyan has been working at ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank since the Bank was founded. In 1996-2003 he was the head of the Armavir branch of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank of Armenia (which is currently called ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank). In 2000-2006 he was a member of the Bank's Council, and in 2003 he joined the Board of Directors of ACBA Leasing CJSC. In 2003-2006 Hovhannisyan was the deputy director general of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank of Armenia. Since 2006 he has been the deputy CEO of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank CJSC.

By its branch network, the Bank holds the third position in the Armenian banking market (45 branches, with 38 of them in the regions).
