Natfood CJSC, a meat processing factory, invested $26 mln in the production expansion in 2008-2012, Yervand Poghosyan, Chief Financial Officer of Natfood CJSC, told ArmInfo. To recall, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited the factory on July 29. 

 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan has charged to take steps for involvement of  representatives of all the interested parties in the work of the commission for public transport fair problems. 

The trial of the criminal case into the assassination attempt against Paruyr Hayrikyan reconvened on Monday.

An unknown person burst into the private house of businessman Khachatur Kazaryan and fired at the members of his family. The incident happened in Stavropol Territory of Russia. The criminal was wearing a mask.    

 The activists, who continue their picket in front of the Yerevan Municipality, have changed their mind to wash carpets on the lawn near the Municipality.

 The Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center has applied to the Ethics Commission for High Ranking Officials over the issue of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan. Radio Azatutyun reports that Varuzhan Hoktanyan, Executive Director of the Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center, has asked Chairman of the Commission Emil Babayan to find out whether the mayor of Yerevan was "in the situation of a conflict of interests or risk of a conflict of interests when making the decision on the public transport fare rise".   

 According to the Armenian State Revenue Committee, ArmRusgasprom CJSC holds the first position on the list of Armenia's largest taxpayers for Jan-June 2013, the company's press service reports.  

The young activists, who have been holding a picket near the Yerevan Municipality for several days, demand that the authorities of Yerevan should stop the lawn watering around the building, because such actions hinder the protest action, thereby violating the activists' constitutional right. They also demand switching off no lights in front of the Municipality at night.      

 Today, the maximum buying rates at commercial banks of Yerevan were 410 drams for 1 dollar, 543drams for 1 EUR and 12,5 drams for 1 Russian ruble. The minimum selling rates stood at 411,5 drams for 1 dollar, 548,5 drams for 1 EUR and 12,5 drams for 1 Russian ruble .                                            

 Five Armenian men have been kidnapped by terrorists from a bus coming from Aleppo to Yerevan.
Yerkir Media reports that the incident took place in Syria near the Turkish border. The kidnappers did not touch the women. It is not yet know where the men were taken.

A group of activists of the Lets Not Pay 150 AMD movement are going to spend this night in front of the Yerevan Municipality. They will continue their picket until their claims are satisfied.

ArmInfo's correspondent reports from the scene that the protesters are singing and collecting signatures against the Municipality's decision to raise the public transport fare in Yerevan.

They demand that the decision be annulled rather than suspended, the heads of the Municipality's Transport Department and Yerevantrans be dismissed, the public transport services be improved and the fare be reduced to 50 AMD for the next five days as compensation for the damage caused to passengers in the past five days.

To remind, on Thursday Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan suspended his July 20 decision to raise the public transport fare in Yerevan from 100 AMD to 150 AMD.

The so-called "closed  issue" submitted by Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan for  consideration of the Government on July 25 had nothing to do with the situation that has arisen in Yerevan following the decision to raise  the public transport fare.  

The press service of the Government has told ArmInfo that the "closed  issue" did not concern the rise in the public transport fare and its  consequences. The Government refuses to tell any other details. 

In the meantime, a source in the Republican Party of Armenia has told  ArmInfo that the "closed issue" concerned Taron Margaryan's possible  resignation, but the Government rejected that issue.  

To note, the procedure of submission of the so-called "closed issues"  for consideration of the Government is used very seldom. The  consideration of such issues implies absolute confidentiality.

 At the moment the Municipality of Yerevan is holding an emergency meeting.    

 During the football match between the Polish and Azeri football clubs Piast and Qarabag, the Polish fans hung up the flag of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
