The young activists, who have been holding a picket near the Yerevan Municipality for several days, demand that the authorities of Yerevan should stop the lawn watering around the building, because such actions hinder the protest action, thereby violating the activists' constitutional right. They also demand switching off no lights in front of the Municipality at night.
The protesters have applied to Head of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan. They have said if Mayor Taron Margaryan fails to stop the law watering and if the Police Head fails to provide the activists with normal conditions for the protest action, the activists will block the traffic, and the whole responsibility will lie on Margaryan and Gasparyan. The activists are going to continue their picket until their demands are satisfied, i.e. until the authors of the decision on the public transport fare rise are brought to responsibility.
To note, earlier the activists visited the driver of the microbus line No67, who had been injured during the actions of protest against the fare rise.
