ArmInfo.  The Armenian side is working on the Crossroads of Peace initiative, seeking to integrate its territory and its logistical capabilities in major  pan-continental processes. However , the signing of a peace treaty  between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a mandatory condition for its  implementation. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made this  statement during his speech at the embassy conference on May 23.

ArmInfo.  Residents of Artsakh have started to apply for Armenian citizenship more frequently. Deputy Interior Minister of Armenia Armen Ghazaryan made this statement  during a press conference  on May 23.

ArmInfo. This year the festival <Crossroads:  Contemporary Music Days in Armenia> will be held from May 27 to June 9.  As reported by the press service of the Festival  organizers, the program of events this year includes concert evenings  with the participation of young performers, as well as public  discussions, seminars and master classes.

ArmInfo. ARF Dashnaktsutyun Bureau member and MP Hagop Pakradouni met with Lebanese Defense Minister Michel Menassa at the ministry's headquarters in Yarze.   According to the ARF press service, Pakradouni discussed with Menassa  the current situation in the country, the ongoing Israeli aggression  and the role of the Lebanese army in addressing these challenges.  He  commended the army's commitment to intervene in the country's  challenges. The discussion also focused on the situation in Syria and  its impact on local and regional events. 

ArmInfo.  On May 23,  RA Deputy Prime Minister  Tigran Khachatryan received the Regional Director of the French Development Agency (FDA) Mathieu Vasseur, as reported by the press service of the RA government. The meeting was also attended  by Olivier Decottignies, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary  of France to Armenia. 

ArmInfo.  The Artsakh Parliament elected a new speaker at an extraordinary session. Instead of David Ishkhanyan, who is in a Baku prison, the Artsakh parliament will be  headed by Ashot Danielyan. This was reported by Artsakh NA MP Metakse  Hakobyan.

ArmInfo. The program "Mapping, informing and developing the potential of micro and small businesses (MSB) of forcibly displaced Artsakh residents" has been launched in  Armenia. This was reported by the Public Organization "Union for the  Protection of the Interests and Rights of the People of Artsakh  (Artsakh Union).

ArmInfo. The Patriarch of Constantinople of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Sahak Mashalyan will visit the United States in June. This was reported by  the Ermenihaber publication.

ArmInfo.  The head of the Erebuni administrative district, Hakob Balayan, who arrived at the scene of the protest near a place called "TEC Circle", promised to solve the  problem of potholes on Arin-Berd Street as soon as possible. 

ArmInfo.   A tense situation has developed in the capital's district called "TEC Circle". Local residents have blocked the road, demanding a meeting with officials  of the Yerevan City Hall.

ArmInfo.  The Commission for the Prevention of Corruption has opened a case against Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for an obvious violation of the code of  conduct by an official. Non-partisan MP Taguhi Tovmasyan wrote about  this on her Facebook page, referring to the Commission's response to  her request to open a case against Pashinyan in connection with the  threats and statements he made to the opposition from the parliament  rostrum.
