ArmInfo.Power outages cannot in any way affect either the voting results or the tabulation process.  Central Election Commission (CEC) Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan made this statement at a press conference on June 7.

ArmInfo.Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Vahagn Hovakimyan presented preliminary  data on the voting results in Yerevan and ten regions of Armenia.

ArmInfo.From the start of the regular parliamentary elections in Armenia on February 7, 2026, to  June 7, 2026, as of 6:00 PM, 425 reports of overt crimes obstructing the electoral process have been received.

ArmInfo. The Public Television of Armenia (PTA) broadcast propaganda in favor of the "Civil Contract" party for approximately 40 minutes. This was stated by Gegham Manukyan, a member of the Armenian parliament from the opposition "Armenia" faction, in a video posted on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. According to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia, 282 reports of possible violations hindering the electoral process have been registered since the start of the parliamentary elections in Armenia as of 8:00 AM on  June 7, 2026. This was reported by Tsovak Mnatsakanyan, Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Pre-Trial Legality at the Anti- Corruption Committee of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia, at a meeting of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) on June 7.

ArmInfo.  The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Armenia and the Human Rights Defender's (Ombudsman) Office have released updates regarding calls received and violations recorded during the parliamentary elections.

ArmInfo.  Voter turnout in Armenia's parliamentary elections stood at 33.84% as of 2:00 PM local time.

ArmInfo.  As of 11:00 AM on June 7, a total of 53 reports concerning alleged violations during the parliamentary elections in Armenia have been received.  According to information received by ArmInfo  from the press service of the  Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Armenia, a total of 17 calls  were placed to the MIA Operational Management Center's emergency  number (112) and the dedicated hotline (87-67).

ArmInfo.  "I believe the opposition has succeeded in conveying to Armenian voters that these parliamentary elections are fateful for Armenia." This was stated during a conversation with journalists after voting by Levon  Zurabyan, the candidate for Prime Minister of Armenia from the  Armenian National Congress (ANC) party, led by Armenia's first  president, Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

ArmInfo. About 50 representatives of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) have been  detained, as stated by Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik  Tsarukyan  to journalists after the vote.

ArmInfo.  Armenian citizens are actively participating in the elections: during the first hours of polling stations, voter turnout reached 187,917, as stated by  by  Gohar Meloyan, a representative of the Strong Armenia party,  co-founder of the International Center for the Development of  Parliamentarism, and an expert in constitutional law.

ArmInfo.  Voter turnout in Armenia's parliamentary elections reached 14.48% as of 11:00 AM, according to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

ArmInfo.  Since this morning, Armenian law enforcement officers have been detaining and arresting members of the "Armenia" alliance's campaign headquarters.

ArmInfo.  Representatives of the ruling Civil Contract Party are entering polling stations  carrying their own campaign materials. Marianna Ghahramanyan, press  secretary of the Strong Armenia party, reported this on her Facebook  page.

ArmInfo. The Council of the National Democratic Pole (Bever) Party has demanded the immediate reinstatement of the normal operations of Armat Media, an outlet  affiliated with the team of "Strong Armenia" party leader Samvel  Karapetyan.

ArmInfo.  Zhakip Asanov, coordinator of the CIS mission to the Armenian parliamentary  elections and Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Kazakhstan, noted a  calm atmosphere during the voting process at polling stations in  Yerevan.

ArmInfo. On the night before the elections, two chairpersons and a secretary of electoral  commissions were detained, as stated by Vahagn Hovakimyan, Chairman  of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), to journalists on June 7. 

ArmInfo. The staff of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia began early monitoring on June 7 to oversee the country's parliamentary elections.

ArmInfo.  Polling stations opened at 8:00 AM. As of that time members of election commissions were absent at 50 polling stations, a stated by Vahagn Hovakimyan,  Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), during  a press  conference on June 7. However, in only three instances were members  of the leadership team absent—two chairpersons and one secretary.
