ArmInfo. The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) is one of the three most visited museums in Armenia, as noted by Edita Gzoyan, the Museum director, at a press conference in Yerevan on April 2, while speaking about visitor numbers.

ArmInfo. On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, two new names will be added to the memorial wall, where the names of those who spoke out against the violence inflicted upon Armenians during the genocide are engraved. The names of  genocide scholar Raphael Lemkin and French General Louis de Furney will be engraved  alongside others. This was announced by Edita Gzoyan, Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI), at a press conference on April 21 in  Yerevan.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) acquired 50,000 archival materials in 2024-2025, which significantly expanded its scientific activities in the field of studying the Armenian Genocide. This was announced at a press conference in Yerevan on April 21 by AGMI Director Edita Gzoyan, in connection with preparations for the 110th anniversary of  the Armenian Genocide.

ArmInfo.  As part of the Days of Kazakhstan Culture in Armenia, the grand opening of a park named after Abai Kunanbayev took place in Yerevan. The naming ceremony of the park, located near Alma-Atinskaya Street in the Avan  administrative district of Yerevan, took place with the participation  of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MESC) of  the Republic of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, and the Minister of  Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, Aida Balayeva.  A memorial  plaque in honor of Abai Kunanbayev, a renowned Kazakh poet,  representative of the educational movement, prominent figure in  literature and philosophy and founder of Kazakh literature, was  unveiled at the park during the event, the press service of the MESC  reports.

ArmInfo. The head of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS), Sergei Naryshkin, believes that international recognition of the current Afghan authorities is inevitable, but is currently being hampered by the West's desire to maintain instability in the country, according to the FSI press  bureau, as reported by RIA Novosti.  Naryshkin visited Baku on April  17-18, 2025 to participate in the conference "Afghanistan: Regional  Connectivity, Security and Development".  On the sidelines of the  event, he also met with the Azerbaijani  intelligence  and Security  Service officials, as well as the heads of other regional  intelligence agencies.

ArmInfo. The Human Rights Defender (HRD) of Armenia emphasizes that the unimpeded professional activities of journalists are exceptionally important for the proper  exercise of the right to information and freedom of expression.  Additionally, the unhindered work of journalists is valuable not only for protecting the rights of specific individuals, but also holds great public importance.  The media must have a favorable environment for carrying out their activities. In this regard, it is extremely important for state bodies and officials, as bearers of public authority, to take active measures to create such an environment. Moreover, officials should remember that journalists' questions can often be tough, but this is permissible as long as they do not violate the legal boundaries of freedom of speech.
