Armenian MFA  expresses sadness over fatalities in Lebanon

ArmInfo. The Armenian Foreign Ministry has expressed deep  sadness over the news of  hundreds of deaths  and more than a thousand injuries caused by  airstrikes across Lebanon.

"Gravely saddened by hundreds of victims and more than thousand  injuries resulted by airstrikes across Lebanon on April 8. We express  our condolences for families of deceased and wish speedy recovery to  all t injured, expressing hope for de-escalation and cessation of  hostilities," the Armenian Foreign Ministry's statement on X reads.

It should be noted that, according to the latest data, at least 254  people have been killed and another 1,165 wounded as a result of  massive Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon. A national day of mourning has  been declared in the country.
