Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Russian Federation Rahman Mustafayev, at a meeting in Moscow, discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres in light of upcoming intergovernmental contacts.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry press service, current issues of coordination between the foreign ministries were discussed.
"They confirmed their mutual commitment to continue productive joint work to further strengthen multifaceted Russian-Azerbaijani ties and allied interaction, as well as to ensure security and develop cooperation in the South Caucasus and the Caspian region. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
