
ArmInfo. The Bulgarian Embassy in Armenia, in partnership with the Anatole France French Lycee, held a series of events within the framework of the Francophonie Days, which have started in the country.
Today, students from the Lycee held a poetry hour at the Bulgarian diplomatic mission in Yerevan. They recited works by famous Bulgarian poets in both Bulgarian and French. Some of the works were accompanied by musical performances by the Lycee students. In his opening remarks, Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Nikola Nikolov expressed gratitude to everyone in attendance for their participation in this important even for popularizing the French language. The event was attended by diplomats from Francophone countries accredited in Yerevan, representatives from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, the Lyceum's administration and teaching staff, and parents of the Lyceum's students.
Within the framework of the Francophonie Days in Armenia, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Yerevan, in cooperation with the Anatole France French Lyceum, organized a table tennis tournament. Ambassador Nikola Nikolov encouraged the participants to remain as determined and driven as ever toward success and high achievements. He thanked the director of French Lyceum for the excellent partnership, the commitment and enthusiasm shown by both the school administration and the students and friends of French language and culture in Yerevan. The event not only promotes sports and a healthy lifestyle but also helps build and maintain friendships outside the school and work environments. Nikola Nikolov noted that the goal is to have other future joint initiatives with the French Lyceum that will help students freely demonstrate their skills and give them the opportunity to develop and gain confidence in their knowledge and abilities.
Ambassador Nikolov awarded medals to the winners, and certificates were handed out to all other participants in the tournament.
