RA MFA: Armenia not yet ready  to launch EU accession process

ArmInfo.  The Armenian authorities are not yet ready  to launch the EU accession process, as stated by  Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan  at a meeting of the NA  Committee on European Integration on March 23.

He stated that despite the adoption of the law regarding the  initiation of  the EU accession process, the current focus is  on  implementing reform programs to ensure  the country meeting EU  standards. However, once these standards are met, a political  decision will be made on this issue. "At this stage, no such decision  has been made," the Deputy Minister said.
