Yerevan Metro operation resumed 

ArmInfo. Yerevan Metro service has been restored, and a technical failure has been resolved. This was reported by the press service of the Karen Demirchyan Yerevan Metro.

"Service has now been restored and is operating as normal on both  lines. We thank you for your patience and understanding," the Metro  stated.

As a reminder, videos of crowds at various metro stations had  previously circulated on Armenian social media. Citizens complained  of being unable to get to classes and work due to the disruptions in  the capital's metro. Yerevan Metro spokesperson Anna Aslanyan told  ArmInfo that the Yerevan Metro is operating on one line in both  directions due to a technical failure. The failure occurred in the  open section of the Gortsaranain station due to a power surge.
