Tehran confirms killing of Ali Larijani

ArmInfo. Tehran has confirmed the assassination of Iranian National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani by an American-Israeli tandem.

According to Fars, Ali Larijani was targeted by American and Zionist  warplanes at his workplace, along with his son, renowned scientist  Dr. Morteza Larijani, one of his deputies, and a group of bodyguards.

"It was previously reported that Larijani died at his daughter's  home, but informed sources denied this," the publication notes.

According to Iranian media, Larijani's head of security, Seyed Vahid  Fatemi-Nejad, was also killed in the airstrike.

Earlier, the US announced a reward of up to $10 million for  information on ten senior Iranian officials, including Larijani. On  March 17, the Israeli Foreign Minister cynically stated that a $10  million bounty had been offered for Larijani's head, but the IDF did  it for free.
