ArmInfo. The Heritage Party will participate in the parliamentary elections in Armenia, scheduled for June 7, 2026. This was announced by Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovhannisyan.
Speaking about the format of participation, he noted that the party will make a final decision within the next week, after which a congress of the political party will take place in early April. "Our position is that we shouldn't overload the electoral field with a separate application. I personally have no ambitions to become Armenia's prime minister. The Heritage Party will be part of the solution to these issues, particularly in liberating the country," the political party leader added, according to Armenian media.
He expressed his conviction that Armenia today needs maximum consolidation both before the elections, during the electoral process, and afterward. Hovhannisyan also added that he has high hopes for the Strong Armenia party of Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan, which, he said, could become a national alternative.
