By decision of  Catholicos of All Armenians, Archbishop Abraham  Mkrtchyan relieved of his post as Primate of Vayots Dzor Diocese

ArmInfo.By the decision of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, Archbishop Abraham Mkrtchyan has been relieved of his post as Primate of the Vayots Dzor Diocese based on his  written and verbal resignation  request, as reported by the Chancellery of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin.

By another order of the Catholicos, Bishop Makar Hakobyan, the  Primate of the Syunik Diocese, has been appointed interim as the  Locum Tenens  of the Vayots Dzor Diocese.
