ArmInfo. Residents of Gohar Gasparyan Street in the Kentron administrative district are frustrated with the city authorities' inaction. For six years, the street has been in a deplorable state and is in need of repairs. Despite reaching out to the mayor's office for several years, the city council has consistently refused their requests, arguing that there are no funds allocated in the community budget for that specific street.
Over the past three years, residents have taken it upon themselves to repair the road several times. However, they believe a full-scale repair requires heavy equipment. Furthermore, residents note that the city authorities have failed to provide street lighting, a problem they have had to address themselves.
Their last appeal at the end of 2025 was once again turned down. "Our street is in the worst condition in the Kentron administrative district," residents noted.
