ArmInfo. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan sent a letter from the Yerevan-Kentron Penitentiary Institution, addressing Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's speech in the European Parliament.
"I have read about your self-expression in the European Parliament. I'm glad you still fear me and my people, which you once again try to dispel with your usual lies:
I'm in prison, you're not, but I'm free, and you're not, because THE TRUTH SETS YOU FREE. At first, I wanted to respond in detail, but following the example of our Lord, I was tempted to say, "Get behind me, Satan" (Matthew 4:10), but even that was too much for you:
I'd rather quote Zaven from "We and Our Mountains": "Because you are ignorant." But more seriously, I'll address your speech-or rather, your entire statement-later. "May God bless my Armenia, my Artsakh, and our victory: Prisoner of the Homeland Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan," the letter reads.
Recall, Nikol Pashinyan expressed his concerns in the European Parliament about the "cynical behavior" of several priests of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC). He emphasized that these clergy members had cynically violated all the rules of spiritual ethics, thereby making themselves vulnerable to foreign intelligence services.
