RA NA invites CIS IPA to observe Armenia elections 

ArmInfo.A letter from Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, was sent to Valentina Matviyenko, Chair of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and Chair of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

The letter invites the CIS IPA to participate in international observation of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia. This was stated in a statement by the CIS IPA.

"The authorities of the Republic of Armenia are committed to holding  elections in accordance with democratic norms and standards, in the  spirit of freedom, fairness, and transparency," Alen Simonyan stated  in his letter. As a reminder, the elections to the National Assembly  of the Republic of Armenia are scheduled for June 7, 2026.
