Armavir community should become center of Armenia`s food industry

ArmInfo.The Armavir community should become the center of Armenia's food industry. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the board of the Strong Armenia party, announced this at a meeting with local residents.

According to him, the community is the richest in the country in  terms of agriculture, and the revival of this industry should begin  here. Narek Karapetyan noted that a new leader is needed to achieve  this goal, as all previous leaders have done both good and bad  things, and it is up to the people to judge the situation. "We had  four leaders, and as a result of their leadership, we got what we  have. The poor Armenian today lives only in Armenia, which means the  problem is not with Armenians, but with the country's authorities,"  the Strong Armenia party board member noted.

He added that a specific program is being proposed specifically for  the Armavir region. The region should become a center of agricultural  production. Every third hectare in the region remains uncultivated  due to water shortages, lack of landowners, and so on. Meanwhile, the  region should become a hub for the processing industry, allowing  local residents to live well.
