


ArmInfo. The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted for review the Prosecutor General's Office's claim to confiscate illegally acquired property from former National Assembly member Ernest Mikhailovich Soghomonyan and his wife.
According to the supervisory authority, the Department for the Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property demands the confiscation of two properties located on Northern Avenue in Yerevan, with a total cadastral value, approximately based on market value, of 236 million drams, as well as 8 million 50 thousand drams as residual illegal income, from Ernest Soghomonyan and his wife.
Ernest Soghomonyan was a member of the Armenian parliament of the first and fourth convocations; he is the father of Viktor Soghomonyan (former head of the office of the second President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan) and Mikael Soghomonyan (former member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission, now a representative of the company "Tashir Capital").
