Karekin II is in contact with Armenian communities in all  conflict-affected Middle Eastern countries

ArmInfo. Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II is in constant contact with Armenian communities in all countries directly or indirectly involved in military  operations since the outbreak of the war in Iran. This was stated in a statement by the press office of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin.

"Karekin II expresses concern and alarm over the current situation  and maintains constant communication with the Catholicosate of the  Great House of Cilicia, the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, and  the diocesan primates of the region," the statement reads.

As a reminder, on the morning of February 28, the US and Israel  attacked Iran. In retaliation, Iran strikes American bases in the  Middle East. As a result of the American-Israeli aggression, Iran's  Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several high-ranking Iranian military  officials were killed. The US has so far confirmed the deaths of six  of its soldiers. An Israeli strike on a girls' school in a southern  Iranian province killed, according to the latest figures, 170  students and their teachers, and wounded dozens more. Armenia has not  yet offered condolences to Iran over the death of the Iranian Supreme  Leader.
