ArmInfo.While neighboring, friendly Iran is under attack, Armenian authorities have launched their election campaign and are sharing joyful selfies, as  noted by Tigran Abrahamyan, NA deputy  from the opposition "With  Honor" faction, in a Facebook post. 

"Large-scale military operations are underway in a neighboring  country, with serious regional consequences, while representatives of  Armenia's Security Council and political elite are taking selfies and  carefree photos - they are in the midst of an election campaign. I'm  not even mentioning that we are talking about a friendly country and  Armenia's 'southern gateway.' The consequences of the 'butterfly  policy' will be felt by the Armenian people and all of Armenia," the  MP added.

It should be noted that news broke this morning that Israel had  launched air strikes against Iran.  Meanwhile, Armenian Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan had been sharing cheerful good morning  messages on  social media since the morning, and then he posted a  video announcing the start of the election campaign. The video  featured almost all members of the Cabinet, the Speaker of  parliament, and ruling party MPs campaigning in the Armavir and  Ararat regions.
