Group of believers initiates petition in support of AAC

ArmInfo. A group of believers faithful to the Armenian Apostolic Church has initiated a petition in support of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

In the petition, the initiators express concern over the actions of the leadership of the Republic of Armenia, which is attempting to manipulate and divide the Armenian Apostolic Church. The initiators call on all Armenians living in Armenia and the Diaspora to unite around the Armenian Apostolic Church and His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, and to jointly defend the Holy See of Etchmiadzin, the rights of believers, and the foundations of democracy in Armenia.

To participate in the petition and sign it, please visit https://armspyurk.com/ and follow all instructions.  As a reminder, the Prosecutor's Office has opened a criminal case against His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, and he is prohibited from leaving the country. A case has been opened on charges of obstructing the execution of a judicial decision related to the defrocking of Arman Saroyan.  Khachatur Galstyan has been appointed prosecutor for the criminal case. Investigator Ara Avakyan will lead the investigation.
