


ArmInfo.The "Civil Contract" party has completed its initial internal vote to select candidates for the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, as announced by ruling party MP Arusyak Manavazyan at a briefing on February 16.
According to her, a total of 1,028 people participated in the vote, with 932 valid votes cast, in addition to invalid and unused ballots. According to the data released by Pashinyan, the Prime Minister received 894 votes, with 38 party members opting not to vote for their leader. The top five results were as follows: Nikol Pashinyan - 894, Suren Papikyan - 780, Gevorg Papoyan - 765, Ararat Mirzoyan - 743, and Vahagn Aleksanyan - 697. The next five were: Ruben Rubinyan - 687, Arayik Harutyunyan - 668, Hayk Konjoryan - 663, Alen Simonyan - 628, and Arsen Torosyan - 620. Among women, Anahit Avanesyan, Alkhas Ghazaryan, and Hasmik Hakobyan received the highest number of votes.
It should be noted that the final composition of the ruling party's electoral list for the parliamentary elections will be determined at a conference in April.
