


ArmInfo. A bilateral roundtable discussion will be held in Armenia on February 13-14 as part of the "Bridge of Peace" initiative, bringing together representatives of civil society from Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to Armenpress, the Azerbaijani delegation arrived in Armenia for the first time to participate in the event, crossing the delimited and demarcated sections of the land border, having completed all necessary procedures.
During the discussions, representatives of civil society from Armenia and Azerbaijan will reportedly touch upon processes arising from the peace agenda approved at the Washington Summit on August 8, 2025.
Separate sessions will be devoted to the emerging regional security architecture, the benefits of peace, public perceptions of establishing relations between the two societies, prospects for economic cooperation, and the role of civil society in strengthening mutual understanding and trust.
As a reminder, civil society meetings were launched after the initialing of the draft peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington in August 2025.
