Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan released  to house arrest

ArmInfo.  The arrest of Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, Primate of the Aragatsotn Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, has been replaced with house arrest according to a decision made by the Aragatsotn Court of First  Instance. His lawyer, Ara Zohrabyan, informed reporters of this  development.

It should be noted that Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan is accused of two  charges: obstructing electoral rights and compelling people to  participate in meetings, both using his official position.
