


ArmInfo. US Vice President J.D. Vance has discussed the release of Armenian prisoners in Baku, according to Vice Presidential Press Secretary Taylor Van Kirk. "President Aliyev and Vice President Vance discussed the next steps of President Trump's Armenia- Azerbaijan peace initiative. They focused on trade and prosperity, technology, and diplomatic ties.
They also discussed next steps, including contracting and obtaining approvals for TRIPP (Trump's Route to International Peace and Prosperity), as well as confidence-building measures such as prisoner releases, American investment, and regional economic integration," Kirk said, according to media reports. She did not provide any further details.
Recall, on February 10, while leaving Yerevan, Vance promised journalists to raise the matter of Armenian prisoners at meetings in Baku.
