ArmInfo. Impeachment has been and remains the real instrument for power change in Armenia. Public figure Narek Malyan writes about this on his Facebook page.
According to him, unlike aimless marches and rallies, impeachment provides for a very specific political outcome. It assumes the opposition's responsibility for the process and its outcome. Meanwhile, most of the opposition in Armenia avoids accountability. Instead, they prefer imitation trials, the failure of which can be blamed on "the people."
"Since June 9, you will very often hear: 'the people didn't vote, that's why we lost,' 'the people didn't take to the streets,' 'we couldn't explain to the people that Nikol is evil,' and other similar expressions. The opposition has long since removed power change from its agenda, replacing it with a fierce struggle for a place in the political sun," the public figure noted.
