Special Forces play vital role in strengthening country`s defense  capability - minister 

ArmInfo. Special Forces play a vital role in strengthening the country's defense capability. This was stated by Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan during a ceremony marking the second anniversary of the formation of the Special Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

First Deputy Defense Minister and Chief of the General Staff of the  Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, and Special Forces  Commander, Colonel Levon Davidyan, also delivered welcoming remarks  and congratulations.

According to the Defense Ministry, a number of service members were  awarded medals, honorary certificates, and valuable gifts during the  ceremony.
