ICRC visit Armenian prisoners in Azerbaijan 

ArmInfo.  Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited all Armenians officially held in Azerbaijan.

As Zara Amatuni, head of communications for the ICRC in Armenia, told  Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty's Armenian service, the meetings took  place on December 24 and 25. The delegation also included a doctor.

"In accordance with procedures, during the organization's visit, as  in the past, this time, of course, the main focus was on healthcare  issues, treatment of individuals, and conditions of detention,"  Amatuni said.  It should be noted that, according to confirmed data  from the Azerbaijani authorities, there are 23 Armenian prisoners in  Azerbaijan, including eight members of the former and current  leadership of Artsakh. Human rights activists believe the number is  much higher.
