Armenian Foreign Ministry condemns terrorist attack in Sydney

ArmInfo. The Armenian Foreign Ministry has condemned the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach in Sydney.

Shocked by the shooting at Sydney's Bondi Beach, causing the loss of  many innocent lives. Armenia strongly condemns terrorism in all its  forms & manifestations. Heartfelt condolences to the families of the  victims & prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured," the  Armenian Foreign Ministry wrote in a post on X.

On December 14, it was reported that two unknown assailants opened  fire on people at Bondi Beach who had gathered to celebrate Hanukkah.  According to media reports, up to 2,000 people were present at the  beach. According to the latest reports, 16 people were killed and 42  others were injured in the attack, including four children. Among the  injured were police officers. One attacker was killed, the second was  wounded and is currently in critical condition.
