


ArmInfo. A joint meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM), Council of Defense Ministers (CDM), and Committee of Security Council Secretaries (CSCS), as well as a session of the CSTO Collective Security Council (CSC), will be held in Bishkek on November 27, chaired by Kyrgyzstan.
According to the CSTO press service, the participants will discuss current issues of joint work, including strengthening cooperation in combating drug trafficking and illegal migration.
The CSTO CSC session is expected to adopt a Declaration reflecting the consolidated positions of member states on current security issues and to consider the candidacy of the CSTO Secretary General for the next three years (2026-2029). In addition, an announcement of priorities for the Russian Federation's upcoming chairmanship of the Organization in 2026 is expected.
Armenia has not participated in the Organization's work for three years.
