


ArmInfo. Georgia welcomes the initialing of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as stated by Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili during a meeting with his Armenian counterpart, Vahagn Khachaturyan, in a narrow format.
He also emphasized that Georgia consistently supports the establishment of peace and stability in the South Caucasus and is willing to continue to contribute as needed. Kavelashvili thanked his counterpart for his support of Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The parties discussed the current bilateral relations between Georgia and Armenia, as well as the potential for cooperation in various fields. During the meeting, the counterparts reviewed the current political processes and focused on the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region in light of a rapidly changing international order, Channel One Georgia reports.
