Expert: The world`s largest DDoS protection platform, Cloudflare, experienced an outage knocking out many Armenian news websites

ArmInfo. Cloudflare, the world's largest DDoS protection and content delivery platform, experienced an outage that affected many Armenian news websites that depend on it. CyberHUB-AM co-founder and information security expert Artur Papyan shared this information on his Facebook page.

According to him, the outage occurred on November 18 at 3:48 PM local time. Some websites have not yet been fully restored, he added. "The bad news is that, according to Cloudflare's statement, they are still 'working to understand and mitigate the full impact of this issue.' Translating their PR language into human language, I conclude that they haven't even fully understood the cause of the problem or its extend," Papyan wrote.

It should be noted that this outage disrupted the ArmInfo news agency's normal operations as well.
