ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Chairman of the ruling Civil Contract party, explained the reasons for his political force's victory in the Vagharshapat Council of Elders elections.
"There's a lot of talk right now about why the Civil Contract party won the Vagharshapat elections, while the opposition suffered defeat. There's one fundamental reason: the opposition talked about the apocalypse, while the Civil Contract talked about life, and the people simply chose life. In my humble opinion, this will also be the case in the 2026 parliamentary elections, because we have gone through severe trials together and left the apocalypse in the past. And today, and in the future, there is only life," the Prime Minister of Armenia noted.
