ArmInfo. Ono Harutyunyan, supporter of "Mother Armenia" party and blogger, has been detained on charges of "hooliganism," as reported by the political party's press service to ArmInfo, citing the blogger's lawyer, Sergey Sargsyan.
"Harutyunyan was detained for criticizing Argishti Mekhakyan, the ruling Civil Contract party's candidate for mayor of Vagharshapat. It was later revealed that Harutyunyan had been held at the police station during the search for him, and was then transferred to the Vagharshapat investigative department. Harutyunyan's arrest was based on statements he made during a live broadcast on TikTok," the lawyer noted. According to the political party, Harutyunyan was abducted on November 12 by an unidentified group of civilians who claimed to be police officers but didn't show any identification. The blogger was forcibly taken to a car after being thrown to the ground outside the party office. It's worth noting that the blogger had been covering the illegal actions of the Vagharshapat mayor's office.
