ArmInfo. During a Facebook live broadcast, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan answered a question about how Armenia plans to manage security threats, "especially that we see statements that don't follow the logic of the established peace."
"The answer to this question is, once again, legitimacy. Legitimacy is the implementation of policies based on our internationally recognized sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, covering 29,743 square kilometers. This legitimacy will allow us to: Firstly, unlike before, we will have no restrictions on establishing and cooperating with any partner in the world for military-technical cooperation. I mean acquiring weapons and ammunition as needed, which is essentially what happened today," he emphasized.
According to him, thanks to the "Real Armenia" ideology, countries are gradually lifting restrictions on cooperation with Armenia in the field of arms and military equipment.
The Prime Minister emphasized that all this is required not for war, but for peace. "Therefore, legitimacy is the key factor that will ensure our security, territorial integrity, and Armenia's sovereignty in the long run. Based on this legitimacy, we can develop our army, acquire weapons and military equipment, and carry out reforms in collaboration with international partners, that is what we are currently doing," Pashinyan concluded.
