Foreign Minister: Armenia looks forward to effective cooperation with  UNESCO across all dimensions of its mandate

ArmInfo.  Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan congratulated Khaled El-Enany on his election as UNESCO Director-General.

"I warmly congratulate Khaled El-Enany on his election as UNESCO  Director-General, wishing him every success in his responsible  mission. Armenia fully supports his vision of placing people at the  heart of UNESCO's work, and looks forward to fruitful cooperation  across all dimensions of  Organization's mandate," the Minister wrote  on his Twitter account.

In another post, Mirzoyan thanked the former UNESCO Director-General,  Audrey Azoulay, for their fruitful collaboration. "I extend my  sincere gratitude to Audrey Azoulay for dedicated leadership  throughout her tenure. Armenia deeply appreciates her efforts to  strengthen cooperation between Armenia and UNESCO and  continued  support provided to Armenia under her guidance, particularly in  navigating pressing challenges," Mirzoyan wrote.
