By order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Arpine Sargsyan, Hayk Babayan has been appointed Commander of the Police Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, which begins its operations today, November 1, as part of large-scale reforms in the law enforcement system. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As a reminder, the Police Guard is one of the four main specialized police services newly established.
The day before, Babayan was dismissed from his post as Commander of the Police Troops/Forces and Deputy Chief of Police of Armenia by decree of the President of Armenia.
