


ArmInfo. 4.451 bln drams will be allocated from the Armenian state budget for the 2026 parliamentary elections. Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Hovakimyan announced this during a session in the National Assembly on October 29.
According to him, the draft state budget for 2026 proposes to allocate 7, 513,072 drams to the Central Electoral Commission. Out of this amount, 485 million drams will be used to support the Central Electoral Commission's operations and services related to coordinating, organizing, implementing and monitoring election programs. Additionally, 58,851,000 drams will be allocated for the professional training of election commission members. Appropriations for organizing local government elections will exceed 2,517,000 drams.
