Ruben Vardanyan assigned new lawyer

ArmInfo.  On October 28, the sham court hearing for former Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, who is unlawfully detained in Baku, continued. During the hearing, Vardanyan was provided with an interpreter, according to  APA.

The presiding judge noted that at the previous court hearing,  Vardanyan had submitted a request expressing his dissatisfaction with  the proceedings and had refused his defense lawyer. The court  approved Vrdanyan's request to dismiss his lawyer, Abraham Berman,  and instructed the Azerbaijan Bar Association to appoint a defense  attorney.  Emil Babishov, a member of the Bar Association, was  assigned as Vardanyan's new lawyer.
