Lawyer Ruben Mkhitaryan arrested for two months

ArmInfo. By decision of the Shirak Regional Court of First Instance, lawyer Ruben Mkhitaryan, a member of the "In Our Way" movement and son of the late legendary weightlifting coach Ashot Mkhitaryan, has been arrested for  two months. The movement's press service reported this on its  Facebook page.

Recall, lawyer Ruben Mkhitaryan, a member of the "In Our Way"  movement, was arrested in Gyumri on October 20. He had arrived there  to provide legal assistance to individuals who have been detained by  law enforcement officers at the Gyumri City Hall. Eight city hall  officials in Armenia's second-largest city, including Mayor Vardan  Ghukasyan, were also detained as part of an investigation into  bribery charges.
