


ArmInfo. The traditional Ghapama festival (a traditional Armenian dish made with baked pumpkin) will take place in Nor Kyank village, Shirak region, on October 18.
The festival celebrates the synergy of cultural and culinary traditions, inviting participants to enjoy Armenian unique dishes, discover the artistry of local artisans, and feel the spirit of the rich cultural heritage.
Visitors can look forward to national songs and dances, tastings of various Armenian dishes (ghapama, tolma, gata, etc.), as well as the opportunity to participate in pottery and carpet weaving master classes.
The festival will conclude with a festive concert featuring Armenian music. "On this day, the village of Nor Kyank will come alive with the flavors, scents and spirit of Armenian traditions," the Committee's statement reads. The event is starts on October 18 at 12:00 PM and is supported by the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
