ArmInfo.A comprehensive electronic notification mechanism for individuals and legal entities will be implemented in Armenia.
At its October 16 meeting, the RA Government approved amendments to the Law "On Public and Individual Notification via the Internet" and a package of related laws.
Presenting the legislative initiative, RA Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan noted that the draft proposes that state bodies and local governments notify citizens, as well as legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, exclusively electronically.
Once all stages are completed, the notification will be considered delivered. The official email address of individuals is recognized as the electronic method for receiving notifications, while for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the personal page of the electronic tax reporting management system established by the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia is the electronic method for receiving notifications.
Legal entities and sole proprietors will be considered duly notified on the third day following the day the notice is posted on the personal page of the electronic tax reporting system. If electronic confirmation of access to the personal page of the electronic system is not available within three days of posting the notice sent to the legal entity or sole proprietor, notification will be made via public notice, in which case the legal entity or sole proprietor will be considered duly notified on the fifth day following the day the public notice is posted on the official website of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the Ministry of Justice, over 653 million drams were spent on paper notices in 2024 alone.
