Armenia, U.S discuss deepening defense partnership

ArmInfo. Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with US Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby at the Pentagon.

According to the Armenian Defense Ministry's press service, the  meeting focused on the current state of Armenian-American defense  cooperation and the initiation of long-term institutional programs.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the defense  partnership, emphasizing the important role of the United States in  establishing stable and long-term security in the region.

The interlocutors also discussed a number of issues related to the  implementation of joint initiatives in military education and defense  reform.
