


ArmInfo.The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has announced the reason for postponing the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office's visit to Azerbaijan.
Aykhan Hajizade, the spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, noted that the visit of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, to the region was expected to start from Azerbaijan.
"This visit was scheduled for October 13. However, due to President Ilham Aliyev being invited to the Middle East Peace Summit and the participation of both himself and the delegation he leads in the summit, the mentioned visit was postponed. Currently, work is underway to determine a new date for the Finnish Foreign Minister's visit to our country," Hajizade emphasized, APA reports.
Note that today, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ellina Valtonen arrived in Yerevan on a regional visit. She has already held meetings with Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. She will also visit Georgia and Azerbaijan.
